It all began with a blind date in the summer of 2019 at The Dutch in NYC, set up by our local friends

who thought two midwest transplants were a perfect match.

Funnily enough, it turns out they were right!

Mariah was drawn to Michael's sense of humor. Michael, who usually kept to himself, found comfort in Mariah's easy going nature.  That blind date turned into a five-hour conversation, marking the beginning of a connection that would shape our future.

Our journey continued with lots of laughs, golf outings, hikes and new travel destinations.

The more time we spent together, the more we realized we were each other's missing piece.

​

In spring 2022, we left NYC and moved to Miami. Both working remotely, we discovered the joy of spending every moment together, sharing dreams and building a life side-by-side.

​

A year later, on May 9th, 2023, Mariah was frantically wrapping up work and

packing for their upcoming trip to Greece.

Michael decided it was a good time to make a dinner reservation at one of their favorite neighborhood spots.

Confused by the need to go out to dinner (we were about to leave for Greece!), Mariah reluctantly

stopped packing and went along.

When they got home, Michael caught Mariah by surprise when he got down on one knee and proposed.

Mariah immediately said YES!

With hearts full of love and a lifetime of adventures awaiting,

we can't wait to say "I do", and embark on this next chapter together!
